What sets the brand apart is its commitment to pushing the boundaries of flavour — each recipe is a deliberate combination of unexpected ingredients and carefully balanced tastes. The brewery draws its identity from the Star Wars universe: every beer in the lineup carries a name and visual character inspired by that world, with flavour profiles and colour palettes chosen to match.

Challenge:
Dark Pipe Beer is a young brand with a fleet of recipes already developed, waiting to be refined and released in limited batches. Every new flavour needs its own label. Producing custom packaging artwork from scratch for each new release would be both time-consuming and costly — especially at small print runs. The brand needed a system that could keep up with a growing fleet of its products — without growing the design costs along with it.
Solution:
The answer was a visual label system flexible enough to accommodate any new flavour, yet consistent enough to hold the brand together across the entire lineup. I designed that system and built a custom generative tool around it — a web-based label generator where the Dark Pipe team can enter a beer's name and style, generate a finished label, and export it in print-ready quality. No designer required for every new release.
